Luísa Petiz
Luísa Petiz is an architect who graduated from the Faculdade de Arquitectura de Lisboa in 2018. After completing her education, she moved to Macau, where she embarked on her career as an architect. Luísa has always demonstrated a passion for painting, stating that she would always travel with a sketchbook and her watercolor set to illustrate scenes from her daily life.
Her stay in Macau and travels across Asia further intensified Luísa's interest in painting, particularly influenced by the rich Asian culture. It was in this environment that she began to paint professionally, participating in four exhibitions in Macau. Among these, two standout exhibitions are noteworthy: the first took place at the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong in 2021, titled "Macau em Aguarelas" celebrating the national holiday on June 10th. The second exhibition, "Um Olhar Pelo Oriente" was held at the Fundação Rui Cunha in 2022.
Following the last exhibition, Luísa returned to Portugal, settling in Lisbon, where she has been living since. Since her return, she had the opportunity to illustrate the book "D. Manuel I" by author Isabel Stilwell. Currently, Luísa is engaged in a project aimed at preserving the memory of historic shops in Lisbon, celebrating the national and cultural heritage of these establishments, thus contributing to the unique identity of the city.
