Downtown Chiado - 2026
Lisbon re-establishes itself as one of the most vibrant centers of contemporary art with the Downtown Chiado 26 exhibition, an international group exhibition that will bring together artists from around the world at the emblematic Atelier Natalia Gromicho, located in the historic heart of Chiado. The exhibition takes place from February 7 to 20, 2026, and celebrates global creative diversity, bringing to the public a multiplicity of languages, techniques, and artistic visions. With a curatorial focus on plurality and dialogue between cultures, Downtown Chiado 26 presents a collection of works that span painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and new contemporary visual expressions. The exhibition highlights the richness of current artistic creation, offering visitors an international panorama where each artist contributes with their identity and narrative. Atelier Natalia Gromicho, recognized for its ongoing programming dedicated to promoting emerging and established artists, is once again opening its doors for an immersive experience in an environment of proximity between the public, artworks, and creators. The official opening will take place on February 7th at 5 pm, with the presence of several participating artists and the artist and host Natalia Gromicho, whose work has contributed to consolidating Chiado as an international meeting point for art.
